<p>what happens during the summer NSO? do people usually party/drink that night? how do they pick roommates?</p>
<p>Not much drinking /partying goes on during summer NSO… the days are so tightly scheduled and you have to wake up early to take placement tests (like 7 am early) that there just isn’t time. Plus the counselors are on the lookout for alcohol and will keep you occupied until bedtime.</p>
<p>Honestly NSO is like a very strict summer camp… boys and girls can’t be on the same floor, so going outside after the doors look, your individual room doesn’t look. etc.</p>
<p>Roommates when I went were assigned by whoever got there the same time you did.</p>
<p>so if i go with a friend we’ll most likely be able to be roommates?</p>
