Summer of Junior Year?

So I feel as if I should be preparing for applications in the fall.
I'm applying ED to NU and have pretty much all their info memorized.

But what should I do regarding the other 100 [lol] schools I want to apply to?
How many reach, match, and backups should I have?

Also, if I finish all my apps to my priorities should I apply to a few more schools if I have time before their deadlines?

Thanks!

You just completed sophomore year in high school and you’re already preparing your college applications? :O

I’m going to be a senior!

I’m already completely serious about college applications and I’m going into my junior year. Don’t judge the overachievers

I’ve written about 5-6 essays so far, but most of them need to be fixed up. I’ve already started like 6 applications online, just waiting to start the Common App applications.

I’m going to be a senior too. The way I see it, you should apply to at least 5 schools. Any more than that is really up to you. I’ve been helping my friends decide what combination of reaches, matches, and safeties they should apply to & here’s what I think: at least 2 reach schools, 3 matches, and 2 safeties. Though for myself, I’m choosing to apply 3 reaches, 4 matches, 2 safeties. Honestly, though, you should do what ever you want. Apply to 1 school or 100 schools (if you can afford it). It’s your life lol
