Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of a summer program that prepares you for college applications or college level essay writing. I’m an international student so I need one that offer financial aid to everyone and not just US citizens and residents.
thats not needed… internet and college counselors are good enough for applications. i have never heard any student atttending college app programs, its just waste of time IN MY OPINION. i think you should get some academic courses, HOWEVER whatever floats your boat!
OP what grade level are you in? The Telluride Association hosts two programs for Sophomores and Juniors. While they don’t focus specifically on the college process, the applications for both are more rigorous than most you will complete Senior year for college. Just completing the application will make you more prepared for the college process. During TASS, some of the readings we had were over grad-level theory and it was writing-intensive. I believe applications are do somewhere in January.
