Supose you are interested in both math and biology, which of the summer programs (EPGY in Biotech or SuMAC) in terms of quality and usefullness would you choose. Must choose only one.

I have trouble in choosing . . .

I did SUMaC and it was AMAZING. I loved it. However, if you’re not interested in number theory or topology, it’s not a great choice. I guess EPGY would be more useful, but SUMaC might be more interesting and a better overall experience, at least if you’re really interested in math.

i took epgy biotech this summer and it was AMAZING…it was a 4 week class in cancer medicine

i highly recommend it

SUMaC and EPGY are similar in a lot of ways, I think (though I’ve only ever been involved with one, so I can’t say for sure). They’re run by the same people, and a lot of the SUMaC counselors do the first session of EPGY before SUMaC starts up. SUMaC is a much smaller program, as there’s only the two classes, whereas EPGY has a dozen or so classes spread all across campus in “clusters” of anywhere from 60 to 200 students.
