Summer programs for high schoolers interested in computer science?

I’m seriously considering majoring in computer science! I’m a female if that helps (I know there are lots of programs available for minority students in computer science…)

Low cost/scholarship availability is a must.

Bumpbump

Search mysummeradvisor.com for technology, girls only. Also, all free programs. Also, look up “Girls Who Code” they have programs, too.

Carleton College DUE Feb 13- first round, March 27 second round
3 week program, financial aid is available

@“Snowball City” What’s the difference between first and second round? There is no way I’ll be able to get full application done by 13th.

I think they read the applications in two batches rather than having rolling admissions. So, if you submit on March 1st, it won’t be looked at until after the March 27th date. The March date still qualifies for scholarships.

That is my understanding of it.

Ok. Any other ideas? I would prefer the places be in the Midwest.

I have a feeling you are too advanced for this https://apps.cs.utexas.edu/camp/firstbytes and http://www.syp.mtu.edu/courses-scholarship.php#Women_in_Computer_Science

What year are you in school? If you are entering your senior year https://www.iol.unh.edu/stem/hightech-bound

Start googling various state and private university names with summer computer camp. After about an hour you should have covered a lot of states and perhaps have options.

Are there any colleges near you where you can take a course?
