I am currently a Freshman in Highschool, and during this year my schedule was …
Geometry
Pre Ap English
Psychical Science
Civics & Geography
Debate & Forensics
Spanish l
Leadership.
The core classes are required, but I have a questions. Is their a summer program that allows me to basically take classes like Algebra 2 and World history. My freshman schedule isn’t competetive since my school has literally no honors classes. Can you recommend any summer programs that a rising sophomore can take and what are some of the most prestigious programs that I could go to.
Correct me if i’m wrong, but most summer programs that’ll give you credit is at expensive college programs (3,000+), and you’ll receive college NOT high school credit. If you’re not interested in receiving high school credit, and just learning ( which is also a great option), you can probably take some courses at the local community college( save $$). Though, I doubt they’ll offer Algebra 2 ( but there might be online courses for this).
You can get high school credit at Suffield Academy if your current school will except it. check prep school summer on boarding school review
