<p>I have a friend who is a rising Junior in high school and turning 16 in early June. She wants a summer program regarding Economics/Business in driving distance of Washington DC. Georgetown and GW are selective and expensive. </p>

<p>What are some good summer economic programs for a rising Junior for about $1,000 or less in the DC area that are easy to get in to?</p>

<p>Requirements:

  • DC Area
  • Relatively easy to get in to
  • around $1,000
  • For 16 year olds/Rising Juniors in High School
  • Economics related</p>

<p>Pretty sure Howard University has some strong business summer programs. If I recall, they were quite affordable.
Might want to also check American U and Catholic U.
