<p>Any one know of any musical theatre/drama/acting summer programs in Israel. My D, who is presently a senior, wants to spend a good portion of the summer in Israel and thought a program that combines performing arts with cultural and touring experiences in Israel would be a great way to spend the summer. <p>Try <a href=“http://www.nesiya.org%5B/url%5D”>www.nesiya.org</a>. This is a program that has been around for awhile but it may be for high school students; your D may be too old. My S considered this program many years ago – sounds a bit more intense than the regular Young Judaea, etc. programs. My S decided not to attend as he was accepted to NJ Governor’s School for Science. A friend’s D attended
7-8 years ago and is still in close contact with some of the kids from the program. At various times, participants can choose between hiking, visual arts, or drama, etc. workshops. My middle S went to Israel with Young Judaea as he would not have appreciated the in-depth workshops (and perhaps some assignments). I recall speaking with the Director (or his Assistant); perhaps one of them might know of a program to meet your D’s needs.</p>
