Does anyone know any respectable summer programs? Like SSP in california and new mexico. I heard there was one called RSIP? or something at MIT. Anyways does anyone know anymore like summer programs that are science based and are well-known?

and the application not due near January?

RSI is extremely difficult to get into, but if you consider yourself a strong applicant, you shouldn’t hesitate from applying just because the deadline is coming up (and it is…the 15th it looks like).

http://www.cee.org/sites/default/files/RSI_Brochure_2010.pdf

MITES is also for science-minded kids, but it’s just for minorities.

do you know any like ones that based on biology besides the Cornell Nanotechnology one? or summer programs that look good if you are going into the medical field?

Washington University has a pretty good summer program. I went to it and took an a biology class and thought it was good. Since WashU is known for its medical school/science, I would give that a try.

Rose Hulman (#1 Engineering School without a phd US NEWs) has an Summer Engineering Program called Catapult and students love it…

[Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology](<a href=“404 | Rose-Hulman”>404 | Rose-Hulman)

like one that is comparable to SSP and in those categoies? kinda like the ones you dont get college credit in but it looks good on you apps
