Hi everyone! I’m a second-year student at an American university in Eastern Europe, and I’m looking for a nice summer program in the US…I’d like to take courses in Mass Communication/Advertising/Visual Arts (I’m doing a double major in Poli Sci and Journalism&Mass Communication) but transferring credits is not my main concern:p I’d like to experience the East Coast urban environment (I’ve only been in California!), so social life is a key factor… Anyway, I feel a bit lost after my initial Google search…Boston University’s summer term (Contact Summer Term | Boston University Summer Term) seems to be the kind of program I’m looking for. What else would you suggest? I would appreciate any advice…
Thanks in advance!

Northeastern University Summer School (http://www.ace.neu.edu/summerschool/2004site/main.html) - Boston’s most comprehensive summer program

Summer at Penn (http://www.sas.upenn.edu/CGS/summer/index.php)

Summer Session at Columbia University (http://www.ce.columbia.edu/summer/)

And of course, there’s always Harvard Summer School (A Day in the Life of a Harvard Summer School Student - Harvard Summer School) - for three months you can live on campus, study, and call yourself a Harvard student…be we would never want that, would we ;)
