Through out high school, our district gives out required summer reading list. Once my son signs up for a required English (or other required class) at USC orientation, is he going to be given a list of books he must read over the summer? I think we are done with summer reading homework with high school graduation. But, I just want to ask on CC if there is required summer reading for the fall semester at USC.

Nope, no required reading for classes over the summer. If you are in TO, you will need to turn in a short essay at the beginning of your class, but that’s it. (Don’t worry about the essay yet, you will find out more later).

Thank you Nikara. Your response is very much appreciated.
