Summer Reads

Anyone care to share what books they have read this summer now that it is coming to a close?

I started Thomas Pynchon’s Against the Day a few weeks ago and it’s going to take me FOREVER to finish considering the book is over 1000 pages long and reads VERY VERY SLOWLY.

One heckuva book, though. How could you possibly dislike a book with over a hundred meaningful characters, globetrotting settings from Colorado to underground to the north pole, and a cameo by Nikola Tesla?

I’ve read a bunch of books. Some were required for school, and some weren’t.

School Books -
Life of Pi
Frankenstein
Saint Joan (which I’m almost finished)

The World Without Us
The Revolution: A Manifesto (Ron Paul’s latest book)
Anna Karenina (which I’m still working on)
A Star Wars book
