<p>I’m interested …what are the stats of those accepted/rejected? I am wondering what concentration of applicants SSP is aiming for and if there is a definitive "prerequisite needed to get in.</p>
<p>That said, I think I mainly got in off of extracurricular and competitive interests because my essays lacked, since I kind of just copied and pasted segments off my RSI essay (which was lacking) and then wrote piecemeal for the others xD. I guess it wasn’t awful though.</p>

<p>GPA (unweighted) - 3.96
SAT I - 2360 (790 CR/800 M/770 W)
SAT II - 800x3 (Math 2, Physics, Chemistry)</p>
<p>ECs/awards: mostly random math-related things. Self-studied Physics B last year and got a 5; currently self-studying Physics C. Self-studied precalc and currently self-studying for Calc BC (not taking a precalc or AP Calc class). USAMTS Honorable Mention, but didn’t hear about that until yesterday.</p>
<p>I think my essays and (lack of) ECs just weren’t good enough to make the cut. (That 89.4 in honors chem last year and my lack of precalc/calc class this year probably didn’t help.)</p>
