Summer Science Program (SSP)

ha! condoms! lol. I second that jk.
I might bring like a power strip or somethin, cos with cell phones, mp3 chargers etc, 2 out lets might not be enough. Maybe i might bring those lil ones which have like 3 outlets on them. i dunno.

Um. nobody steals other ppl stuff… we would charge stuff in the classroom, in the library in the computerlab… really… i mean, if you have an extra one, by all means bring it, but it’s definately not neccessary.

yeah i prolly an not even gonna bring it. I have this little outlet adapter thing which is like 4 inches big and it takes one outlet and provides 3. I prolly won’t even bring that though.

how formal is formal?

b/c i’ve got these two pairs of pantsuits from something else; would that be fine?

well i am guessing a pair of slacks and a dress shirt and a tie should be chill.

is a jacket absolutely necessary? Let’s say theoritically, i didn’t bring one, what would they do to me? lol

how’s this academic preparation going? i haven’t started yet…and i’m getting kinda nervous that this is gonna get back at me later haha

ahhh i havent started either… cram the night before and on the plane… anyone with me? xD looooool

I’m not doing any academic preparation. I’ll guess I’ll be water-hosed all right lol.

yeahhh, about that academic preparation… :)

um. i’ve been doing the physics, though!

oh, and i’m a girl. so iono about the blazer/tie/slacks.

Jacket= you’ll just be really cold when you go observing :P

Just bring everything you ever had.
Better to have it than not. Right?

Yup :stuck_out_tongue:
Well all that you ever had that you can carry up a hill.

oh wow i just brutally failed the ACT (april 23rd, go it the mail today) :(. Even worse than my absymal performance on the SAT.

A-card, I bet you got <34. Don’t FEEL BAD!!
lol

A-Card, what state are you from? did you take it part of the PSAE?

well i am from Oregon. I took it totally unprepared and the timing kinda killed me. My school district does free ACT testing for all juniors.
@silverdragon, i ended up with a 33. Perfect on math, but apparently i can’t speak english or something.

33 is very good right?

That’s like 99 or 98 percentile
…

it is 99th percentile, but i am still unhappy, cos its kinda of in the loww 99th percentile and i barely make 50% percentile on ACT scores for most colleges i am lookin at.

You can always retake, A-Card. I believe that you can choose individual tests to be sent on the ACT. On the SAT, colleges see all tests that you’ve taken.
