if you study abroad over the summer, do you have to take classes that have to do with your major? i was looking at some of the programs, and there’s one program where you can go to italy and take an italian language class, or go to greece and take an ancient greek history class…can you study abroad and take these classes just for the hell of it? or do they have to pertain to your major?

I’m sure Georgetown would be more than happy to take your money if it would make you happy.

Some schools (like the SFS) require direct matriculation…though I don’t know if that applies to summer programs or what. Your best bet would be to ask when you actually get here?

Also, if you want to go the one in Italy (I’m assuming it’s the villa) work hard because it is rumoredly (is that even a word) quite difficult to get into. I do not know this from personal experience.
