My friend’s summer job fell through and she is looking for a program for this summer. Could be anywhere if they offer beginning language and she really wants to study art and culture.

In terms of realistic, known summer programs… the deadlines are all closed for the ones i know of… and if you understand the summer program system which requires sending in applications etc… most of these programs finished reviewing and have chosen candidates already… IMO its to late to find one… BUT!!.. do not lose hope… A valuable summer experience for an art/culture related student would be to apply to a International Art Galley/Museum… they are always looking for young volunteers with passions in art during summer… they will put her on a 4 day training program i think… my friend did something similar to this…

I thought the same thing ambitious but she’s found an overwhelming number with openings and needs to know which are the most credible. There’s one at John something U in Rome, Expanish has a number, and I don’t havee names for the rest. If anyone has heard of these…

If she still hasn’t found anything UIMP in Spain has several different campuses and their programs run in two week sessions. There was no application deadline and it’s a great program.
