^^Cool!!!

We are going to be clearing out our HD recorder, D has been too busy with her school work to watch Medium with us, so we diligently recorded every episode.

If you missed AGT, I’m sure you can see some of the performances on the web:

[NBC.com - America’s got Talent](http://www.nbc.com/Americas_Got_Talent/video/index.shtml#mea=266101)

The return of “Flipping Out” made my night. WHO is that homeowner anyway??

So You Think You Can Dance and America’s Got Talent!! Unfortunately, I missed most of AGT last night - darn!

I’ve been totally out of the television loop lately, so I am clueless about these shows mentioned here.

but last night, H happened to turn it on and we ran through channels for a little while, and there was one show where people embarrassed themselves by answering questions while hooked to a lie detector as their loved ones watched (something like “the awful truth”?) and another called Beauty and the Geek (no further description necessary) which I just saw a minute of… but in the little i saw of both of these, it seemed the focus was people crying and/or embarrassing themselves. both were cringe-worthy.

Talk about train wrecks! Glad to see these aren’t what CC’ers seem to be watching.

NCIS on USA, Deadliest Catch and Ice Road Truckers, Black Gold should be good…

Garland: actually we have enjoyed watching Beauty and the Geek (though it was not renewed). You need to start from the beginning, though, and see these geeky guys (I can mostly identify with THEM) and the generally air-headed and superficial girls truly transform during the season. Most of them, any way. It’s actually pretty sweet, or was…

If anyone is interested in great shows to watch on DVD I highly recommend Friday Night Lights. It’s AMAZING!

Yeah, I guess one scene of drama/tears can’t really convey the show.

I do like World’s Deadliest Catch, though!

(Note: if I want drama and tears, I can always watch my Mets…:()

garalnd, try Seattle Mariners for tears and drama effect! Also, the Sonics trial beats any court TV type of shows, but I do not think it is televised.

I can’t wait till Mad Men’s second season begins on July 27 on AMC. It is so well written and such a facinating and historically accurate picture of the
60’s advertising business, I often feel I’ve smoked a pack of cigarettes by the end of the show even though I’ve never had one.

Burn Notice starts reruns tomorrow then is back with new episodes July 10. Jeffrey Donovan really makes the character work. I was going to watch AGT last night but got caught earlier by the AFI 10 Top Ten.

AGT, Hell’s Kitchen (even though it’s almost over), and The Mole. I used to like SYTYCD, but I’m just not that into it anymore.

BABY BORROWERS. Looks really awesome.

The Dog Whisperer is one of my new favorites.

Hooked again on another season of Ice Road Truckers - watching guys drive tractor-trailers over arctic ice in -50 degree temps sounds boring, but it is actually a fascinating show. Just LOVE the Polar Bear (**** and vinegar)!

We just watched the season finale on Can You Duet on CMT. DH and I really enjoyed it. We wished it had lasted longer. I watch SYTYCD too. Also Love The Closer.

Bumping to remind people to watch “Hopkins” tonight - the real reality show of the summer.

Thanks for the reminder. The commericals for Hopkins looked interesting.
Forgot to add that I am weirdly fascinated by Miami Ink.

I saw a clip where they drill into a woman’s head while she’s conscious. Not sure I’ll get through this one …

Our family is stuck on Food Network Star and Design Star - guess we can’t get enough of our reality tv…
