Hey i know this is early but if anyone can help thanks
Im a junior right now and I’m planning on applying for ED next year
Can you guys give me some advice on what to do this summer to make the most of it. In the past i did internship and volunteer and some travel but i think i need to make the most of this summer espicially.

You could take some classes, possibly at Hopkins through one of their summer programs.

Apply to JHU PreCollege. I don’t know what your reasons are for choosing Hopkins as ur #1 already…but if you haven’t had previous affiliation with the school/campus, I highly suggest Precollege. It’s an amazing opportunity to know whether this IS the right fit for you. Plus, even if you get nothing else out if it, it’s a wonderful experience and you meet such great people - I’ve done it for two summers, myself.

I also recommend a summer program at a college. The PreCollege at JHU is great – http://www.jhu.edu/summer/pre-college/index.html – but other schools have great programs too. You may also want to consider doing research or another internship.

Summer academic enrichment looks great on college apps…but make sure you do something you will enjoy.
