<p>It’s National Ice Cream Day!!! </p>

<p>A good excuse to go out and get some!</p>

<p>Ice cream is one of my favorite things - just put the ice cream maker in the freezer to chill - we’ll make some homemade ice cream tonight!!!</p>

At our cottage in Canada, there is one place we frequent where they have FABULOUS ice cream! In Canada, their ice cream has a higher % of butterfat, therefore even RICHER! This store has 2 that I just love!

  1. Birthday Cake - not like the store brands! This has a vanilla base and REAL chunks of yellow cake and REAL swirls of homemade frosting. OMG…<br>
  2. Apple Pie - real pieces of cinnamon apples and chunks of real pie crust. Kill me now.</p>

Easy and excellent – tastes just like those old orange push-ups!</p>

<p>Favorite store bought flavor? Anything that combines coffee and chocolate.</p>
