<p>How did people approach this question?</p>
<p>I’ve written over 35 college essays of varying lengths now, but this one is throwing me for a loop! Why Sunday afternoon? Which one should we pick? Wow, I am totally over-thinking this…</p>
<p>I just talked about an activity I tend to do over weekends.</p>
<p>I picked a particular Sunday and wrote specific details about that one day. I think it made it more interesting than if I had written about a general weekend.</p>
<p>i wrote about helping my friend move who went thru a divorce, i think they want something specific that serves to exemplify your character.</p>
<p>i told them i went to see napolean dynamite and the lady at dairy queen gave me a sundae when i ordered a vanilla cone heh</p>
<p>… 35 essays???</p>

<p>i said that i played soccer with friends… dont think its anyhting substantial (like your big common app essay)</p>
<p>I wrote about how when I was in CHina I was on a holy buddhist mountain and went to a monastery with a monk where I met with nuns and had tea with them.</p>
