Grrrr…I can’t seem to find any gel sunscreen this year! DS is uber-fair and really prefers gels over creamy lotions. I’ve always found it for him, thinking it’s the best way to encourage him to use sunscreen. He has to slather it on with regularity to keep from burning. Any secret sources? I hate the idea of buying online and paying shipping costs, but I may not have any choice! I do find the Bull Frog gel on Amazon, but it’s not to be found at my local CVS, Walgreen’s, Wal-Mart OR grocery store.

Just have to keep looking, I suppose. It’s so annoying when they quit making/carrying something that I’ve grown accustomed to being able to purchase!

I put “sunscreen gel” into the search box on drugstore.com and there were some promising results. The site is easy to navigate and delivery is very fast. Can’t say how competitive their prices are, since I only use the site for stuff I can’t easily find in stores, but I think delivery is free is you order enough, and given how fast most people go through sunscreen, you’ll probably want to order enough to qualify anyway. Happy summer!

Sorry, no advise on gels. But I can recommend he keep a sunblock “stick” in his pocket. It’s great to do a touchup on nose, ears etc mid day when really prone to sunburn. I saw one mom apply it on her blond soccer daughter’s head (hair part, exposed scalp).
