Just an update, I got a presidential scholarship for 15.5k per yr. Stats: 1540, 96 UW, 100W, 14 APs, 7 Honors, internships, etc

My son (industrial engineering major) also got word of a presidential scholarship this evening! And we are thrilled because he got his acceptance 3 weeks ago, but since he hadn’t heard about a scholarship, we thought maybe he wouldn’t get one. Binghamton would not be affordable for us without it.
His is “only” $15K per year 
but his stats aren’t quite as good as yours: 1500 SAT, 3.91 GPA UW,
4 APs, 9 DE, not big ECs except a job since sophomore year.

If you don’t mind my asking - could you share what school in BU you applied to, and the state you are from please? Did you get an email about the scholarship?

ok, guys- now i just got an email from bing (me! not my son!) saying that they received his application (which seems weird given that he applied over a month ago and has a portal etc…) and the email has a check status button- but still no decision! are y’all getting this email, too? the suspense is slowly killing me!!!

Must be some weird glitch. I got that email too even though my daughter was accepted two weeks ago and got a presidential scholarship last night.

So annoying. I actually got the same email twice! Got her hopes up.
Yup! Just got it also. I was hoping it was in preparation for the next batch of acceptances. My daughter applied mid-October and this is the first thing I received. Maybe their marketing department is just really behind 
We also got the email but my son was admitted a few weeks ago!!!

Same! Since decisions are often released on Wednesdays and Thursdays, I still have my hopes up that a large batch is being released today or tomorrow
