I just got accepted into Geneseo as a transfer student (currently at my 2nd semester) and I was really interested in it because of the opportunity receiving a BSN at John Hopkins, however, I am having a lot of doubt because I think it might take too long just for a BSN. Any thoughts? Thank you~</p>

<p>I was accepted to Geneseo for Nursing. I ultimately have decided against it because

  1. 5 years for a BSN is pointless
  2. Having the Bio degree from Geneseo won’t matter, haha
  3. You’ll only have 2 years of clinical and actual nursing school, while most schools have three years.
  4. Johns Hopkins is EXPENSIVE.
  5. You have to transfer halfway through your college career (this would be the second transfer for you?). That’s no fun.</p>
