Super Bowl Commercials

^I couldn’t figure out what they were advertising though

I loved the “that’s a jacked-up haircut” (maybe because H used to buzz the boys hair in the kitchen!

I didn’t care for the Coke one. There are lots of songs that WOULD have been suitable, but to use that song seemed like they were trying for controversy.

Second on the Coke commercial - too cliche.

I loved the Coke commercial.
I think people that find controversy in commercials are going to find controversy even when there isn’t one. Meh to them.

To me, it was saying that America is a melting pot of different ethnicities and is beautiful because of that. I loved it. Sadly, I doubt most people where I live will like it either.

I thought the Pepsi one was really cool and clever.

ICantDeal

I interpreted the same thing, swimcatsmom. Melting pot of languages, ethnicities, races, etc. I like it.

Always love those Detroit car commercials.

I like the Coke ad.

Bob Dylan and the Chrysler ad… Very cool. Interesting that Fiat owns Chrysler. Like the ad anyway.

Long live Fiat.

I have always loved this video with the kid running “all the way”. :)

That Butterfinger commercial was… kind of terrifying.

That was really cute - I thought it was coke though? (the kid running all the way one)

The butterfinger one was a little creepy.

No, my two sentences weren’t in any relation to each other. The kid running all the way was Coke.

I agree. The Butterfinger thing was creepy . And I like Butterfingers. What were they thinking. Don’t they have focus groups that look at these things before they put them out. In general, I think the commercials have been pretty boring. And way too many car ads.

Agree about the car adds - way too many. My favorite ones were the Hyundai ones - they were simple but funny. Most of them tried to be too clever - Masarati one was just daft. (the kids and the monsters in the shadows)

I liked the toyota and the muppets with Terry Crews was cute <a href=“Toyota Super Bowl Commercial 2014: Muppets and Terry Crews Star in Game-Day Ad | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors | Bleacher Report”>http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1941313-toyota-super-bowl-commercial-2014-muppets-and-terry-crews-star-in-game-day-ad

And the bear with the greek yogurt.

Oh I did like that one - my husband and I both laughed at it (before he left in disgust at the Bronco’s performance)

I like this commercial even more because they used the song “Let Her Go”.

Prize for most adorable goes to Budweiser

The Doritos and mastiff commercial was adorable.

There was apparently supposed to be a Budweiser commercial that used rescue rather than bred pups- did anyone see it? I haven’t yet. One of my favorite commercials of all time is still the “Here, Wego” commercial… was hoping for something similar  lol

Well apparently some folks are losing their minds over the coke commercial on twitter and Facebook. Note to them, America the beautiful is NOT the national anthem…idiots
