Predictable, po5. Just predictable.

Sad. America the not so beautiful. Sigh…

Before I judge them…What are they complaining about?

^ Haters gonna hate.

@Niquii77 : take your pick. “This is MURICA. We speak ENGLISH.” or “**** foreigners” or “I can’t believe they did this to our NATIONAL ANTHEM.” (My favorite right there.) Along with the usual misspellings and butchering of English along the way.

I didn’t like the Coke commercial. I don’t think American the Beautiful should be sung in languages other than English. It’s disrespectful.

I liked the Tebow ads, but T-Mobile has only a limited network compared to ATT and VZ.

The ads that made me want to buy products were Hyundai/Kia and Butterfinger. I wonder what Reese’s cups thinks about Butterfinger’s new product.

takes a seat bangs head against table

Like. How is it disrespectful? This country is continually driven towards freedom and the diversity of cultures and ideas. Suddenly, to sing a song about America (who prides itself on its colorful inhabitants) in the multitudes of the languages in which its very inhabitants speak in is disrespectful? No.

I think it is the opposite and a sign of great respect that Americans of different cultural backgrounds wish to honor their country. Very sad that anyone would think America the Beautiful in any language is disrespectful.

Well I don’t think it’s disrespectful. We are the only country that prides itself on being monolingual. I would wager that the folks in that ad probably speak English in addition to their native language.

I’ll say it again- anyone who thinks it’s disrespectful or thinks it’s controversial is looking for a reason to be offended.

cure.com had the best ones.

No wait – James Franco and that beautiful tiger was my favorite.

I thought the Coke commercial was beautiful. I don’t get how it is disrespectful. To praise the country in many languages, where is the disrespect?

Some food for thought, especially for anyone who found the commercial disrespectful:
<a href=“Coca-Cola's "It's Beautiful" Super Bowl Ad Brings Out Some Ugly Americans | Time”>http://entertainment.time.com/2014/02/02/coca-colas-its-beautiful-super-bowl-ad-brings-out-some-ugly-americans/

A major point being, being or becoming American doesn’t erase everything you were or your family was before. A monoculture would not make us richer, stronger or leave us with a true history. And the choice of song? Perfect. Because America IS beautiful.

As a first generation American, I appreciated the Coke commercial. I also liked the Tim tebow ads, the car ad with the father saving his son (I never remember what’s actually being sold so I don’t remember which car co.), the VW ad, and the Radio Shack ad. I’d already seen the Doritos ads, the Beckham ad, and the puppy/horse Bud ad before the game.

I know the actress who played the mom in the Doritos commercial w the dog!

I feel like I’m the only person who just does NOT understand the appeal with Beckham.

His appeal is that his physique does justice to the male body.

(More justice when he was younger…but…still).

I was so disgusted with the game, that I missed the Doritoes commercial…which I understand was the highlight of the game (other than the halftime show). Hoping I can find it on YouTube!

Everything is on YouTube. The Halftime show was on YouTube before the game even ended.

@romanigypsyeyes, no you’re not!
