Super gift idea for travelers

Love my compression sleeves from Sockwell for longer flights. They are pretty easy on/off and without the foot part so your toes don’t get scrunched or dirty from the floor.

http://www.sockwell.us.com/products-detail.html?id=68 I think they were about $20 from a local shoe store.

^^how do those help you on long flights?

These are awesome: “Water Front” brand folding umbrella from Japan.

I have the larger 1 meter diameter ones. They weigh 6 oz and fold to a flat shape of only 1/2" thick by 2"x9". They are so compact & lightweight that we all each keep one in our rollaboards. They take up hardly any space in a purse. Can’t tell you how many time these umbrellas have “saved me”. The flat shape is the key to their portability.

Apparently, umbrellas are the number one souvenier in Japan

The shops in Narita airport used to sell these, but I haven’t seen them there the last few times I went thru. I did see them recently in Haneda Airport, though. And they are available in shops in Narita town (the hardware store on right-hand side of the street as you walk towards the Naritasan Shinshoji Temple) and all over Tokyo.

I gave a couple of these to my parents. Their friends were so impressed with them, that I had to bring back more. If you’re going to Japan, grab these! They come in 2 sizes. Pick the Large one. And they only cost about 10 bucks-- woohoo! A great Xmas stocking stuffer.

I wonder if the GoodToGo cupholder will work with a Tumi rollaboard? I can’t slip my mating Tumi pieces over the wider-spaced-apart rods of other rollaboards.

Wow, love the goodtugo.

@greenwich - my legs just don’t feel as tired and my ankles/feet don’t seem to swell. (never had it bad, but always had some minor swelling). I can’t explain it, but they just feel great. They are not as tight as medical compression socks.
