Super gift idea for travelers

This looks like something I might order for several on my gift list. I have never ordered from The Grommet before. Anyone have good or bad reviews of their service or products?

There’s always Amazon…

I’ve been using the Releaf Neck Rest for the last 3 or 4 years - multiple trips to Hong Kong, Singapore, France, Germany, etc. It is a little bulky - doesn’t fit well into a packed travel purse, but fits easily in the outside pockets of a wheel-aboard, or I attach it to my purse strap. I initially saw it in an airline shop-on-board catalog. All the travelers in family have one now, all purchased from Amazon. We love it. The design is different from the pillow suggested above - I wish it was easy to compare the two “in person”, but well-stocked travel stores seem few and far between anymore.

Thanks for sharing. I am going to try it.

I got the Releaf neck support for my H last year. I believe it even comes in different sizes. He sleeps easily on airplanes but his head flops over, or to the side, and wakes him up. He even woke up once with his head resting on the person next to him! The neck support helped with all that.

Thanks for the input.

I just got one of these for myself and find it very handy & compact:

American Tourister foldable travel bag that weighs about half a pound.

I hate checking luggage and only travel w a rollaboard bag. Once unfolded this handy ‘supplemental’ bag is large enough to stuff the entire contents of my rollaboard, thus giving me the flexibility to haul souvenirs back in my rollaboard.

Another handy travel device is a portable travel scale. For the occasions that I do have a checked bag, I make sure to weigh it before heading to the airport.

It’s a must-have if u like to haul back lots of red liquid souvenirs.

I love my travel scale! It makes it so easy to rearrange a few things between bags and not worry about fees. I have this one (but I got it at a AAA store):

@DeniseC I have ordered from The Grommet before. Good products, fast delivery.

Thanks @shellz

I have that travel scale also. It saved me from learning the hard way that on crowded flights Cathay Pacific takes the weight limits for carry-ons VERY literally.

Another really handy travel gadget: a multi-port USB charger.

Article in the WSJ:

I have a different brand. Mine has interchangeable prongs for different shaped electrical outlets in different countries.

I also have a 3 meter long USB charging cable that allows me to sit far away from an electrical outlet. The rest of the family covets my long cable.
=P~

I never understand why charging plugs only have one usb port. I’ve had a couple for my car that at least have two ports and that makes a world of difference!

Thanks, VABluebird. D travels weekly for work, and I am going to order one for her for Christmas.

I have not purchased this, but I am tempted to try it out. I travel a lot for work, and frequently grab lunch while changing planes, and need to maneuver a drink with my carry-on roller bag.

As long as you don’t tilt the bag, you will be good to go.

I bought the ReLeaf neck thingy for Mr. It turns out that Regular size is too tight for a guy who wears size M (16-16.5 collar) shirts.

Re 16 and 17–it swivels with your bag so it remains upright.
