Super Score question

When the college board sends results, don’t all the scores show up?
At what point does Rice come up with a super score that shows only
the best results…

With the high volume of apps and scores, does any confusion ever occur?
A high score gets missed, by accident?

And, finally, what’s the volume of apps for 2012 like?

Thanks so much,
Ottoline

A high score at Rice, or any other top university, is not an automatic acceptance. Also, each applicant is reviewed by several people, so it is unlikely that anything would go unnoticed.

Last year there were about 600 early decision applicants, and over 3,000 regular decision applicants. This year there should be more, not only because that’s the trend among all colleges, but because Rice is expanding their class size.

actually there was way more applicants…almost 9,000 total…here the admission statistics with SAT averages and such…

Hmmm… sorry about that, I guess I saw it on a bad site.
