Superbowl 2013

Broncos-Ravens 21-21 at halftime.
Exciting.

My team didn’t make it to post-season this year but I’ll watch any team play. Although I like no team other than my own, I’ll be pulling for an AFC win come Super Bowl time. Gotta keep it in the conference, right? ;)

Yes, BTW, this game is pretty exciting … neck and neck.

Baltimore are getting so screwed by the refs. They should have had that fumble, but can’t say I’m surprised refs seem to be calling in favor of Peyton manning and in denver… But baltimore is having trouble getting the pass rush on manning, he has all day to throw.

I’m pulling for the Ravens. They’re my 2nd favorite team (creeping up to #1… sorry, Lions.)

And I 2nd post #3. It’s painful to watch on so many levels. (Although being from Detroit, I’m used to bad refs :p).

TOUCHDOWN!!!

I’m hoping the Patriots make it to the Superbowl and win. Maybe this year with the Giants out, it will happen.

I want Ravens all the way.

I would love for the Ravens to win too, huge upset too.

Harbaugh vs. Harbaugh Superbowl?

:( …

ETA: I take that back! I take that back.

This is an amazing game!!!

Agreed. Amazing game. Rooting for the Ravens.

WOW! What a game! I’m glad this wasn’t a blowout and Baltimore is almost within striking distance of the endzone.

I really don’t understand OT rules in the NFL…

If the team that gets the ball first scores a field goal, the game goes on, but if they score a TD, the game is over. Now, since Baltimore didn’t score anything, if Denver scores a FG or TD, game over.

Rooting for Denver. Any Manning beating New England would be a good thing! :D

So if Baltimore scores on this run, do they win? Whether it’s a FG or TD? Or do they win if they get a TD but not a FG?

I am so confused.

On first posession of overtime, whatever team had the ball would need to score a TD to have the win. If they had scored a FG only, the other team gets the opportunity to have the ball. Once they have the ball, if they score a TD, they win. If they score a FG, it’s tied again and the game continues.

You’re right, Romani, it’s confusing for sure. I don’t like the new rules.

And this is why I like hockey :p

Next week, romani! :)

That is a game I have only little knowledge of the rules. I think I’m a one-sport girl and football is it!

Now that hockey is about to start back up, you’ll have to explain some things to me, romani. Let’s go, Predators! You’re a darned Red Wing fan, aren’t you? :)

4th generation from birth to the grave! My great-grandpa used to tell my dad about the days when they were the Cougars!

NHL starts on my birthday this year. Coincidence? I think not ;)
