Superscore: 2200 Should I retake the SAT? Help Please!

Hi everyone :)

I am a student from Singapore. I intend to pursue an undergraduate degree in either business or economics in year 2014.

The schools that I really wish to attend (in order of preference) are:

 1. UPenn (Wharton)
 2. MIT
 3. Cornell
 4. UChicago
 5. Michigan

And My 2013 Oct SAT I scores are:
CR MA WR (single-sitting: 2140)
720 800 620

I heard UChic and Cornell do not place much emphasis on writing. Is this true?

My previous SAT I scores are:
CR MA WR
600 720 680

So super score is: 720+800+680=2200

(My SAT II Scores are:
Maths Level II Chemistry Physics
800 800 760)

These are all the tests that I took. Considering my chances of being accepted into these schools base on the scores alone, should I retake the SAT I again?

Thank you very much for your help! :)

UPenn Wharton: Reach
MIT Sloan: Reach
Cornell Dyson: Reach
U Chicago: Reach (Booth is graduate-only; pay attention to the essay prompts)

For U Michigan Ross I’m asking what your GPA and ECs are… maybe it isn’t a reach at 2140 or 2200.

Any help from experienced members will be greatly appreciated. I have really nice teachers and I believe they will write good recommendation letters for me. My predicted grades are probably all As. I think I have a pretty decent EC (leadership: Chairperson Voluntary work: 500+ hours, Academic: Advance Physics and Chem Classes in junior high, Awards: (gold, silver, merit) in a wide variety of competitions, initiated major school event and held the top position before.)

UMI Ross: High match

UMich Ross: reach (UMich do not superscore and Ross is super competitive, 2140 is just average for UMich overall.)

UMich LSA: high match for oos/international (SAT at admission average). You may apply to transfer into Ross as sophomore. It is still very competitive though.

Thank you very much for your comments! :)

Realistic chances at Michigan and Cornell.

Take SAT again or try ACT.
