Superscore

I know many colleges superscore or at least claim to superscore but I was wondering if the weaker grades affect their view of you in any way when you apply. For example, if there is say…a 100 point discrepancy in your superscore and your highest oneshot score, will they take that into account at all or will it strictly be superscore?

The colleges that superscore don’t look for discrepancies…

People have always suggested that single-sitting scores are better because the colleges (not collegeboard) are the ones that superscore… but I’ve found no evidence to suggest that.

So a semi-dramatic decrease in a section wouldn’t really hinder me?
