Superstitious?

Is it just me, or does the post by someone who just found out that they are expecting a baby and is on college confidential, scare the crap out of you too?

I think it is great that someone can anticipate that far ahead at what I assume is a young age, to plan for such a goal.

But as someone whose first child was 10 weeks early and whose second also had difficulties- it gives me a uneasy feeling of putting the cart before the horse.

Nope, doesn’t scare me at all, I have no superstition. We did start saving for college soon after our children were born. (Mine were all late!) I do find it odd that they found CC - I didn’t until I was looking for info on AP test prep.

Yes, I think they’ve got the cart before the horse.

Didn’t someone tell them that when you get pregnant you should immediately get online to figure out how to get your child into that elite private prep school?

lol–I thought you meant one of us (older) parents was pregnant. . .

(Happened to me, twice, since I got on cc.)

Whatever floats their boat–wish I had saved for college, thought about it earlier.
