<p>Hey buddy,</p>

<p>You probably don’t remember, but back when I was applying to S (about a year ago from today) I asked you for advice and for a sample essay, iirc. You were very kind, helpful, and encouraging. Too bad I don’t still have the PM… Never thought I’d make it back then, but voila, here I am ready to start freshman year at S.</p>

<p>Just thought I’d dwell on that memory for a bit. Maybe I’ll even meet you in person sometime.</p>

<p>No problem man. I’m glad to help. I went through my university process mostly alone and I really had no idea what I was doing so I try to help people out with theirs :). </p>

<p>And yeah there’s definitely a chance I might see you I mean Stanford isn’t that big and I bump into people all the time here :)</p>
