<p>When applying via the common application, the 2 Hopkins essays are not required but highly recommended. In fact, the admissions counselors really want to see students complete the Hopkins essays.</p>
<p>And actually yes, you will need to complete both essays - the creative $10 essay and the shorter academic course question.</p>
