My common application essay pretty much answers the rice supplement essay. I have no idea what else to write since I have already explained my unique experiences in my common application essay. Should I expand more on my common application essay in my supplement essay or should i write something entirely different?

I was hoping you’d get a reply - we have similar questions although not necessarily for Rice. I’m completely ignorant; what follows is just my guess. I’d say you should refocus your common app essay specifically to Rice - how will you contribute to the Beer Bike or the NOI/NOD? How will your differences contribute specifically to the college system at Rice? ex: main essay: “I am multi-lingual and know how to juggle” Rice: “I know Rice is becoming more international; my ability to communicate in languages Q and R will help me bring a feeling of home to the students from Q-land and R-land, and I hope to teach others in my house to juggle and start a new house tradition”
