<p>So in the Princeton Supplement Essay, the two “specific” topics (Option 2 with “Princeton at the Nation’s Service” and Option 3 with “Empathy…”) seem to focus very much on service, altruism, etc. Thus, if we want to do Option 1 (a person who influenced us) or Option 4 (a favorite quotes), would it hurt us if our topic ISN’T service based. For example, would it hurt if we wrote about our involvement in an extracurricular or interest in an area of study?</p>
