Supplement Question Help?

Hey I’m applying regular to LMU (hopefully SOON too) but I’m STUCK on my supplement.

I’ve ultimately decided on “Statement/Question 2” on the Common App Supplement for LMU but “please talk about a situation that demanded critical thinking from you, and how your choices or decisions integrated intelligence and character” isn’t really clicking with me.

Personally, I believe that i “think critically” every day, in many situations, most of the time in class at school. I also have thought critically about many main important ideas in my life (faith, life goals, self-defiance, etc.). I feel like the question is asking for something in between these two, and I can’t seem to find a happy medium.

Any advice could help?
Any suggestions/examples can help too? (NOT asking for specifics or anything personal, just something to help push me along)

Thanks!!

Supplement Question:

STATEMENT 2: Speaking about education, Dr. Martin Luther King once said, ‘‘The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character—that is the goal of true education.’’

QUESTION 2: Critical thinking is a central goal of Jesuit education, and at LMU you’ll be asked to think critically and intensively in every class. Dr. King suggests that critical thinking results in our ability to inform intelligence with character, and strengthen character with intelligence. Please talk about a situation that demanded critical thinking from you, and how your choices or decisions integrated intelligence and character.

Hey, so I finished my essay. I guess this thread is pointless now, and I’m not entirely sure I can delete it…

so just disregard this :)
