<p>This is a noob question, but what qualifies as 4 lines or less? When I type everything out in Word my responses are 4 lines and are under the maximum characters, but when I copy it into the common app. it shows up as more than 4 lines.</p>

<p>if you are referring to the short answer, it means 4 lines in the text box (which is less than 2 lines on the print preview) if you look at the print preview, the physical document says 2 lines (the equivalent of 4 lines in the text box)</p>
<p>Depends on how good it is. If you’re known as a naturally funny person (keyword known, it doesn’t count if just you think you’re funny), then you could put it. If you force it then it will be seen as obnoxious.</p>

<p>^I think the idea was to select the adjectives with enough care and precision such that no further explanation would be needed. That was the way I interpreted that question.</p>
