<p>how do you differentiate the 2nd half of the question from the first short answer, "Why NYU?"</p>

<p>For the first question, I wrote specifically about why I chose Gallatin (as the website suggests). For the second question, I chose French, even though it’s not related to my major. I elaborated by saying a second language is important in today’s world and NYU’s study abroad opportunity for France would allow me to immerse myself in the language, which is the best way to learn/improve a language.
