<p>Colleges ask supplement questions they have found to be useful in making their admissions decisions. Chicago and Columbia find book lists to be helpful; other schools may not.</p>

<p>Harvard has a place for you to upload a book list. In that case, since additional materials are specifically invited, go for it.</p>
