LTS, I was away for a few days but of course had to catch up on all I missed on this thread!

I hope you feel the strength of all these wonderful folks on CC from all over this planet who are standing firm behind you all the way. You are not alone. May you feel everyone holding you up! And, we are so grateful that you have such wonderful caregivers and a very loving and thoughtful daughter who can be there for you in person to carry the strength we are sending you over the miles.

I know you can leap hurdles. You have done so many times. Keep up the good fight. I am glad you got the help in the hospital and that you can go home now. Each day, a new beginning. Holding you in my thoughts.

hugs

As has been expressed here, we worry about you, even those of us who you may not be as aware of, who do not speak as eloquently in the past months as all your supporters here on cc have. But do know that we think of you daily and send positive thoughts. There is so much positive energy sent your way, from so many people who care for you and your well being. Wish you a good night and an easier day. Special thoughts too to your DD.

Sweet dreams. :)

More prayers and thoughts, LTS. Browsing cute red shoes…

LTS, thank you for sharing your journey with all of us. We are learning with you and pulling for you.

I am sending Rivermom’s list of quotes in post # 3587 to my mom, who is in her 5th year of treatment for Ovarian cancer. So, your willingness to let us in and see what this experience is like from the inside is helping more people than you’ll ever know!

Reading epistrophy’s post on the healing power of laughter, I immediately thought of Norman Cousins saga and use of laughter to heal his mysterious but serious illness…of course he turned out to be in the selection quoted!

LTS–if yoga turns out to be too strenuous, try tai chi. As a bonus, it’s bound to make you laugh. :)

Praying, waiting for an update…

"Endurance is one of the most difficult disciplines, but it is to the one who endures that the final victory comes.”

Buddha

Hi - I wish I had an update, but, really don’t. Day 5 of 10 of radiation begins today; I walked to the bathroom this morning unassisted but that’s not saying much. - no great distance to cover. O2 levels are only 88 or so; they eould like to see 95 before sending me home.

The hospital is working has called in physical therapists - four days of hanging around in bed - not so good for me. So we will see what we can do.

Oncologists are very worried about gettig me back on a chemotherapy regime asap as you can imagine and they’re not happy about having to begin anew.

I’m just going with the flow, personally: Just paid my film fees - and the calcetread nuns (???).

I would be very pleased to find a Rabbi, if anyone knows of one - my daughter would be very receptive to this as well. We are catholic but this appeals to us. We cannot quite articule why.

I am looking forward to the physical therepist…four days in bed is too much.
