Always glad when you check in, LTS! Good thoughts headed your way from NC!

This is a prayer to the Archangel Saint Raphael the healer. Whe I was a young school boy, I used to say this prayer when I was sick. That was a long time ago. It came to me this evening when I went to church to pray for you.

Domine Deus, in adiutorium nostrum, sanctum Raphaelem Archangelum; et quem tuae maiestati semper assistere credimus, tibi nostras exiguas preces benedicendas assignet. Per Christum Dominum nostrum. Amen.

So happy to hear about the brain scan! I know that a lot of people take Coumadin, a blood thinner, for heart disease and other conditions, so hopefully it won’t be too bad. I actually take a medicine that’s the opposite of a blood thinner in order to help my blood clot.

Are they doing anything about the clot you have now or do they expect it to resolve itself on its own?

A previous poster mentioned your growing army. It made me think of that cell phone commercial where the guy always has his “network” with him. Everytime you face a hurdle (or have good news to celebrate), just imagine all of us at your back, cheering you on, propping you up, and sending all kinds of positive energy your way.

^ Great image.

LTS- Great news about the stable scan!! All my prayers and positive energy. I think you need fancy red slippers for your hospital visit;D

I will wear my red shoes tomorrow.

tango14 - great image. An army of CC supporters, following you (or stalking you?? ha ha) wherever you go, LTS.

I think we should all pick a day and wear red shoes in honor of LTS and find our own personal hurdles to clear.

LOL, Red shoes?

Heck - I can get some red chuck taylors  Just let me know in advance…

oooh…an excuse to go shoe shopping!!!

So glad to hear about your brain scan. I love the idea of the army of supporters. And I’m in on the red shoes, just tell me the day!

Red shoes in a size 10.5 - not a pretty sight! I think I’ll stick to imaginary red heels! I’ll even imagine them coated in sequins.

I think we should wear red shoes the day of the women’s Olympic hurdling events!

I don’t wear heels very much, but I once eyed what I thought were a pair of cute red clogs. My Ds thought “Bozo shoes!” and nixed the idea. (Is the Bozo the Clown just a Chicago thing?)

^^YES!
great idea

I joined this site just to tell LatetoSchool that I am also a member of her army of supporters…don’t have red shoes, but I’ll wear my red socks if that works!! Keeping you in prayer!
