Support Vigil for Sunriseast

Even though it is incredibly foggy here, but I feel the warmth of sunrise trying to push through. Be at peace sunriseeast, coldad, sailingwest, and sunriseeast’s S2. Continued thank to sunrise’s IRL friends for sharing with us.

I just read this entire thread with so many tears I had to keep wiping them away just to see the screen.

I am soooo sorry. I too have been through Cancer and am Cancer-free at this time. I too have lost way too many friends to Cancer at a young age.

I am so sorry to sunriseeast’s husband and children and friends. I have not read through her post yet, but I plan to.

May G-d grant you peace and sustain you through this difficult moment in time. I will also light a yarzeit candle today and say a prayer for sunriseeast and your family. May you all find peace in the memories of your times together. Special prayers for her children and husband.

Continued thoughts and prayers for Sunrise and her loving family and friends. Peace and comfort to you all.

God bless this family. May they find courage and comfort. <><

I’ve been humming the mi shebeirach for sunrise all morning. Peace, my friend.

I lit my candle last night and said a prayer. Hugs to everyone needing support today and in Sunrise’s honor, find someone IRL, who needs comfort today, and give them a hug and some emotional support. (((<3)))

While I don’t know Sunrise IRL, I count her as one of my dear friends. I have spoken about her often and others believe she is someone I truly know. To her family and friends, I hope our virtual prayers and hugs can be felt and offer some comfort during this difficult time.

Peace be with you.

Another candle lit this morning…

momof3sons, I also saw that incredible fog this morning. Thank you for the image of sunrise pushing through it.

I’m new here and just heard of Sunrise’s journey this morning. Sending prayers for peace for Sunrise and her family.

Standing by with all of you, virtual and IRL, in this peaceful and holy place, at sunrise’s side.

Coming in late. Sunrise I wish you peace.

To Coldad and sailingwest and all her family, remember “grief is the price we pay for love”.

Of an inland soul to sea,—
Past the houses, past the headlands,
Into deep eternity!

Can the sailor understand
The divine intoxication
Of the first league out from land?"

Another candle lit…may peace be with you.

I’m thinking of you sunrise, as I have been all day, from sun-up to sun-down. Peace be with you and your loved ones.

This may be the most touching thread I have ever read on any website ever.

I lit a candle and continue to pray for a gentle passing, surrounded by love. May her husband, sons and real life people feel the love coming from around the country and world for her.

I added a thought in the other forum that perhaps we can all do an act of kindness or help out a family dealing with a life threatening illness in Sunrise’s name. We could be an army of good for Sunrise.

I have followed these two threads, but never posted. I know there are many others like me, who have watched the brave fight. I hope I do not offend anyone’s religious beliefs if I repeat the writing attributed to Bishop Brent in England back in the 1800s, for those who may believe in a life beyond our understanding:

We had that printed on the booklet at my dad’s Funeral Mass…so beautiful an image.

We can imagine that those who’ve gone before Sunrise will be there for a loving greeting.

God bless Sunrise and her family.
