Suppose You're On A Desert Island....Just For Fun

What’s to eat on this island? Got to match the correct drinks. If it’s truly a desert then alcohol would be bad but at that point who cares.

Water and lemon
Iced coffee
Margaritas on the rocks
CFA sweet tea
Apple cider

So is this really a desert island? Or a deserted island? Might make a difference for my choices! (Hot coffee in the desert?)

I actually clarified this before posting!!!

Uninhabited islands are sometimes also called “deserted islands” or “desert islands” . In the latter, the adjective desert connotes not desert climate conditions, but rather “desolate and sparsely occupied or unoccupied”.

So let’s not parse against the wording when we could be drinking. :tropical_drink:

Just five?

  • I second the Arnold Palmer
  • Vodka/Cranberry/Lime/Seltzer
  • Magic Hat #9 IPA
  • Smithwicks (Irish ale)
  • convenience store iced coffee

Edit: Second thought, I have to replace one with the ridiculously good Sangria I had in Barcelona

Second edit: Can I add a Campari spritz, in Verona, at one of the pizzerias by the Arena? (Can’t stand Aperol)

Bone broth - for the nutrition and satiety (I’m not sure if there is other food around)
Choffy (cocoa beans that are roasted, ground and brewed like coffee) with hazelnut stevia and a splash of silk soy creamer. Because I’m addicted.
Chai (with any milk alternative) Iced if ice cubes aren’t available, but I’ll drink it warm if I’m somewhere cold.
Rootbeer
Caffiene-free Coke Zero (which would be miraculous as you can’t find it anyplace anymore)

I’m going with regular Coke. I figure it doesn’t matter if I gain weight on a dessert island. Oops, desert.

Hard cider, or unfiltered apple juice?

For me:
Coffee,
Milk (for the coffee)
Hard cider
Amber ale
Stout

I’ll swim to @momofboiler1’s island when I want some scotch.
