Surprised that UC Davis rejected me...

Both UC Berkeley and UCLA accepted me and when I logged onto UCD, they rejected me.

Perhaps because I didn’t TAG or is it because Psychology is impacted there?

I remember seeing some 3.9-4.0 range rejected from UCD on the UCD decisions thread, so I guess it’s pretty impacted for psych.

Yeah, you’d think that Berkeley and/or LA accepting you would mean that you’re practically guaranteed to get into the other UCs, but not really lol

It happens all of the time.

I was rejected from CSULB of all places, but accepted to all four of the UC’s I applied to (I, LA, SB, and R).

I saw a lot of psych majors getting rejected there, with great gpas like bhav said. So yeah it must be heavily impacted.

Did you complete all of the prereqs for Psych at Davis? It seems they rejected many qualified applicants because they were missing more than one or so.

@BurntCorpse‌ - I actually understand that better than OP. The CSU’s give preference to students in their service area. In some instances you can have nearly a 4.0 and get rejected from a popular CSU. I don’t understand getting rejected from Davis but getting into a Cal-
I guess it has a lot to do with major.

I’ve seen a few people on the Davis thread that TAG’d psychology. Maybe they just had a lot of students TAG that major, limiting the amount of openings they had remaining. Psychology is already a competitive major too.

I was rejected from Davis as well with a 4.0 GPA (Psych)

Edit: However, accepted to Berkeley and LA
