“Survey Results For Class of 2007” (news item)

<p>The following appears in the most recent issue of the Princeton Alumni Weekly. In each issue, each class posts a few paragraphs about classmates and in this issue, the Class of 2007 posted the results of a survey taken one year after graduation. A little more than 50% of the class responded to the survey. Here are some of what I believe are the most interesting questions and responses. I thought they might be of interest to prospective applicants.</p>

<p>“Which was your favorite year of college?”</p>

<p>56% – Senior
24% – Sophomore
14% – Junior
6% ---- Freshman</p>

<p>“How often do you think you’ll attend Reunions?”</p>

<p>56% – Every year
42% – Every 5 years
2% — Every 10 years</p>

<p>“Do you wish you’d attended more classes, gone out more, or slept more?”</p>

<p>56% – Gone out more
34% – Attended more classes
10% – Slept more</p>

<p>“Did you leave college more conservative or more liberal than when you started?”</p>

<p>49% – About the same
30% – More liberal
21% – More conservative</p>

<p>“Who do you want to be the next president?”</p>

<p>59% – Obama
23% – McCain
16% – Clinton (the survey was taken before she dropped out)
2% ---- Nader</p>

<p>“Do you think you know a classmate who will someday run for US President?”</p>

<p>64% – Yes
36% – No</p>

<p>“Would you send your kids to Princeton?”</p>

<p>97% – Yes
3% ---- No</p>
