Suspended twice freshman year??

<p>Hello, I got suspended twice freshman year and have been getting good grades. Around a 3.4. The first one was for “bullying” but not really, and the 2nd was for throwing a carrot at a yard-duty. I want to go to ucsb and a decent school. Will these suspensions put a effect on me? I plan to do a good amount of community service to kind off make up for all of this. </p>

<p>The 3.4 looks like your bigger problem for SB.</p>

<p>High schoolers grow a lot between freshman and senior years, and colleges know this. Work on raising the GPA and be aware that there are many excellent colleges out there. Even if you keep a 3.4 you will still find a good school. Just don’t set your sights on UCSB only.</p>
