<p>I think that California has risen to the top of the heap this year. The states which are listed in the article following California, (New York, etc) are usually the most represented states. Engineering has been a popular “intended” major for a number of years, but that doesn’t mean that everyone who says they “intend” to be an Engineering major sticks with it. Same for any other “intended” major. Bio is popular, poli. sci. is popular.</p>
