Hey all, does anyone know, historically, any approximate date for RD results to be released? They list by April 1st on their website, but all schools say that.

probably right in the middle of march. Also I wanted to ask if you were able to access your fin aid checklist

Yes we can access fin aid checklist.
Re RD decisions, the official website says “by April 1”, and I found unofficial websites listing dates, and one said “Late March” and two said “Mid-March”, so who knows.

Hey, y’all, I shot Swarthmore an email to ask if they had any dates set to release application results before the April 1st blanket and they replied with this.
So… does this mean April 1st is the actual release date? Or are they just restating the April 1st blanket release date? I snooped around online and saw they released RD decisions around mid March, so I’m not completely sure.

If they stick with the same schedule as the last few years, I would expect March 15.

Any new insight into when results could come out?
How bad is not doing the optional video? I kept meaning to do it but never did for some reason.
Also, before I knew I would apply to swarthmore they bombarded me with emails so I unsubscribed. After applying i re-signed up for the mailing list.
Did those two things mess up my (already small for anyone) chance of admittance?
Swarthmore is does not track demonstrated interest. I wouldn’t worry about the emails.

My guidance counselor guessed perhaps this Friday? Around the same time as Haverford.

Have you gotten the financial aid checklist sorted out? Mine shows - but it is confusing seemingly indicating it needs everything? It is unclear as I know all forms were send through IDOC and CSS Profile. I just hope this is over soon.
I know someone who got in without doing the optional video, so I dont think it is something that swings admission decisions.

Saw this site a couple of days ago. Too bad it doesn’t allow actual registration for the event…might have been a tell for the admission decision
Yeah. I posted as a heads up for booking rooms at the Inn. A trick I’ve learned from BS. As soon as DS was admitted in December, I hedged my bets on the dates based on the past dates. I’ve done the same for parent weekend this fall. I booked rooms as soon as they opened for move-in day. Now there are far more hotel options at Swarthmore than DS’s BS, old habits die hard.
