Schools are usually pretty good about being right on time but it might be up a little earlier if you check! and good luck!
I just checked my financial aid checklist for the first time (whoops!), and I see an “N” displayed by each of the required items, which, I presume, means that the financial aid department hasn’t received the listed materials. As EDII results come out on Friday and I haven’t been contacted, is it fair to assume that I have been rejected? Am I reading too far into this? I applied for financial aid on the Common App.
Have you submitted your FAFSA? For me, that’s the only thing I have a ‘Y’ next to because it’s the only thing I’ve sent them.
I have indeed submitted the FAFSA rip

i think the biggest weakness on my application was that nearly all of my activities started junior or senior year, but i guess this was counteracted by the fact that they were very well-focused and they could tell i was really passionate about education (i’m planning to major in cog sci and minor in ed studies, then become a professor). i also was significantly less academically focused early on in high school, but they could tell i put in a lot of work later. also i really worked hard on my essays which i know represented me really well. i’m super excited to be part of the class of ‘24!!!
oh yeah also just for some motivation- that B i got? it was in REGULAR chemistry. my school doesn’t have honors classes, only AP and normal, and i chose to take normal chem and still got a B the second semester. also i only had 2 years of a language in high school because i started japanese in 8th grade and was horrible at it. and i took regular english instead of ap lang in 11th grade. plus i have zero college credits. this just goes to show that you don’t need to be perfect academically to get into great schools and it’s better to take classes you’re actually passionate about than to stack up with rigorous classes you don’t want just to impress colleges. follow ur passions luv
